Spent the day over at Al's yesterday an brought 10 of these guys home to adorn my 75G BB!! :D :D

They dont have any problems eatin thats for sure!! ;) :D

Thanks Darren!! Yer right about the freezer! I need to get a seperate one now cause the flats, an the BH that Al gave me are takin up to much space in my freezer now! :crazy:

Marks Fish are a tad older than contest fish....They are from the first spawn I had of that pair.....so that makes them a few weeks older.... but they are the same line...same parents..:)

I have always hated liver, gizzards, heart etc...:vomit:

Add a bit of garlic and it's really good. The night I was mixing mine up for the very first time my wife thought I was making tacos. :D

Thanks Jose an Ardan!! I am very much in love with these guys! My wife has made a few comments about my passion for em as well. Something about a single bed in the spare room in front of the fish tanks...I was doing a WC an didn't really catch the whole statement ;) :D

They are just gonna be awsome fish in about a year. I hope I can get a nice pair out of them!! Then I can tell the wife a single bed wont fit!! :D :D :D

I don't know about beefheart yet but, I know that they'll sure eat roast beef if ya pinch em' off a piece, I've seen mine do it !
Probably they'd eat almost anything that didn't eat them first !
Discus can put a whole new meaning to the word "grocery bill", no doubt about it !
Really nice, I can't wait to see these fish grown either, they are gonna be some lookers !

For me...The best part of breeding Discus is just this...to see someone caring for them and appreciating their beauty as I would if I had kept them.:)

oh and on the beef heart... we'll see how you do today....I have about 50 lbs waiting here for us to grind up today:D:D:D:D....

Thanks Kenny! You know about quality stock my friend! :) I am definately having fun with them. When I grew out the turks I never fed them BH. Fed em everything else though. I can see a big difference in the way these guys are growing out feeding the BH. :) :) These guys have more room than the turks did as well. So far so good!

I cant keep up with Al though... His fish from the same spawn are alot bigger than mine!! I wouldn't be surprised if they were pairing up already! :D
