Just got two wild caught discus. Got an unbelievable deal, I think. They are huge at almost 6" from the head to base of the tail. $35 each. Bigger than biggest guy I have in the tank. It has been less than 24 hours in the tank, but they have seem to settled in OK. Swimming around and checking things out. Here are the pics. Sorry for the bad quality pics. Let me know what you think. Also, anyone knows what kind they are?

Nice looking fish. They look like wild greens to me.

Where did you get the great deal? :)

Did you quarantine the new fish?

Thanks for sharing,

Walter

Do you mind saying where you got these? I'm in Northern VA also and would love to know...

Thanks!

They do look like Xingus. Thanks for the link. I got them from frybabies.com. They are located in PA and I have gotten a lot different fish from them. Great service and great price. I think they have 6 more.

No, I did not Q the fish because the fish have been with the breeder for over 6 months. Everything looks good so far. Thanks for the complements.

Happy to report that both are eating and doing well. They love the frozen bloodworms, but don't like the pellets as much. Hopefully, they will eat more pellets.
