Bye bye otocinclus! :(:(:(

I've been lucky that my discus have never eaten any of my otocinclus. The altum angel on the other hand....

Sorry for the loss of the little worker bee, but that is a great shot nonetheless.

I love that pic. I guess that's one more thing you have to watch for with wilds. They actually think the other fish are dinner, not tank mates, LOL!

I love Altums but they do have a might appetite.

LOL, all I can say is that Altums are worth the loss. Even though I feel bad for the little guy. ;)

That's a great shot!

At a LFS, they put a pair of angels in a tank with some large cardinals. I informed them of some 1/2 eaten floating cardinals in the tank before they lost any more!

I guess they aren't angels after all :)

If it can fit into another fish's mouth, it will eventually. Great shot, even though I feel a little bit bad for the oto.

LOl... yes altums sure can pack in the little fish... It always amazes me when I see a picture of a tank of altums stocked with cardinals... I've tried it....its like buying expensive feeder goldfish for an oscar.:(

Nice photo walter...too bad for the oto though!

Expensive meal. I had a group of adult Altums wipe out a large group of tetras within a week. I never seen the the altums eating the tetras during the day. Once the lights went out, the altums would hunt them down in groups like wolves. They would corral the tetras in a tight group and take turns picking them off. Amazing to see. The altums would turn sideways and dash in at the group of tetras.
