Aquarium Salt

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum and new to discus keeping. I have 7 juv. discus for 2 months now and they're doing great. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if it's ok to use aquarium salt in a discus tank. In all my other tanks I've ever had I've used it to prevent disease.

Hi, Salt prevents no diseases or parasites of anykind...it barely kills any parasites now days..It should never be used for anything but a bit of stress.

Also ''Aquarium Salt'' is the biggest rip off and myth in the hobby any kind of salt will work and is fine...including iodized
