I'm thinking about putting one of these on my 60g. Water is just never clear enough for me. Especially after feeding. I have a Fluval 405 running, and does good Bio work even though it rattles ! And a Penguin 330 HOB, which helps too, But neither are good at polishing water, any input is welcome.
Thanks -

I have 3 of the HOB 250. 2 are in costant use. The micron filter clogs up quick so is not very useful for continues duty in a tank but does help clear up the tank as a temporary filter.
I have seen some bad reports on the 350 but never had one myself. Don T.

i like my 350. it dose'nt have a large media holder so i use bio wheels for bio filtration but the water polishing cartridge is very nice

I agree, Brenda! I had HOT Mag for a long time and it did make it crystal clear ~ I just got so darn tired of cleaning all the crap out and putting it all back together! Plus it is expensive IMO.

After a while I wanted to keep things extremely simple...;)
