i know many people breed at the temp between 82-84.
some breed at temps of 84-92 for faster egg hatching.

now when the eggs hatch and have frys what temperature is best for the frys?

i currently have mine at 84-85
and the eggs hatch in two days (instead of three)

would keeping the tank at 84-85 be good for the fry or would 82 be best for the fry because lower temp is known for decrease respiratory rate?

aznboystyl3,

I live in Florida so my water temp is determined by the temp of the season...during the winter months my water temp is around 84...during the summer it is closer to 86. I do not use heaters in my tanks but rather heat/cool the entire room...
