There were none this morning and now the bottom has hundreds on it. They look like round or tubular (almost baby brine shrimp like) dots dancing on the bottom glass. they seem to pop around and sometimes look like they are flying.

I will try to look at one with a jewelers glass and try to post a better description.

Advice?

Thanks

its probly copepods or planaria you will need to clean your filters and wipe down everything..you will need to stop over feeding..That is the main cause..

After days of searching I did find a pic of what appears to be it. I do believe it is copepods. Are they harmful to fish or newly hatched fry? They are in one of my breeding tanks. Here is a pic.

Any comments are appreciated

They won't hurt your fish..They are a sign of over feeding..clean everything out. cut back on foods that they don't eat well and give them only what they will eat in a couple of minutes.thing is to only feed the fish.
