Discus won't eat anything else

but bloodworms. I tried mixing in bloodworms with flake food several times but they just picked out the bloodworms. Maybe I should starve then for a few days and keep on giving them just flake food until they eat it? The discus are around 6 months old.

Keep trying it and make sure it is the first meal of the day when they are the hungriest.

There are two ways I try when I want my fish to eat something new.
First, I start adding small amounts of the new food into there usual fare at every feeding and very slowly increase the amount of new food to old untill it's mostly the new stuff and they are eating it well.
If that doesn't work, don't feed the fish for a day or two and then feed them nothing but the new food at every meal. If they don't eat it at first, syphon it out after 5 or 10 minutes and do it again at next feeding time. Keep doing this untill they eat. As long as they are healthy to begin with the second method will work every time as long as you stick to it.
