...after putting my definite pair (male oriental leopard dream, female venus leopard) into the 29 breeding tank they put eggs down on the cone today. This will be their 7th spawn, first outside the community tank. Keepin' my fingers crossed!

24 hours later and no eggs eaten. The male is by them almost constantly. Both are still eating at reduced rations. There are three completely opaque, white eggs but they were laid that way. All the rest are still amber colored with a hint of darkness at the center. My fingers are cramping from being crossed. I'm estimating between 75 and 100 eggs.

I'll try to get some pix when I'm not so worried about disturbing them into eating their eggs.

About 50% of the eggs have turned white. I expect most if not all the rest will too. Oh well, at least they didn't eat them. He'll get it right eventually.
