They are adoable, Brenda!! How many days did it take for the eggs to hatch? Great pictures!!

That's so cool. I wish I had a white duck that could stay in my apartment....they DID say no DOGS......hmmmmmm. lol

Hey Marie !
I'm guessing it took the standard 30 days for the eggs to hatch, we found the nest by surprise too, so I don't know how long it had been there.
These Ducks come and go, and they all look about the same, so it's hard to tell one duck from another :o
But the babies are doing fine and loving soaked dry dog food !!!
Very fun to watch, from what I read, they should be flying within two months. Bs6749, I had a Raccoon in an apt. one time, why not a duck ????

I think it would be HILARIOUS to have a duck but the apartment owners would probably throw a fit. They won't even allow dogs on the premises, not even if a friend had to come by and the dog stayed in the car, while he dropped something off. I would still have them bring the dog in the car because I think the rule is stupid, but I'll be moving in about 2 months anyway, to a house out in the country!!!! Maybe THEN I'll get a duck lol.

On a side note, they said that aquariums were okay in the apartment...I had a 55, 2 x 29's, and 4 x 10's at one point! Yeah, I'm one of "those people" that LOVE fish. As I look back on it now, it's probably a GOOD thing that the stand for my planned 125 gallon wouldn't fit in our door. It was ~7.5 feet long as it was rounded on each end...not quite sure how that would have worked out in my 3rd floor apartment!
