You could put a lot of discus in that lol. It sounds like he was using it at one time so I guess its sound. You have to be careful though some engineering should go into large tanks like that.
I hope I am not breaking any protocol by posting this link, but if you check out monsterfishkeepers.com they have a number of threads of DIY large tanks. This one is 50,000G.

A guy that owns a LFS by me knows the guy from the monsterfishkeepers link. The guy has several large tanks like that. I believe it's part of his "therapy" as he's in a wheelchair. If you read through the article it mentions something like that. That would be pretty cool to have but can you imagine doing a 25% water change 3 times a week? :laugh::laugh: Of course I'm kidding about that. I can't remember how long it took to fill up the 50,000 tank...something like a week or more I think.

Oh man I know that tank all to well. At one point it was at a salt water store and they keep sharks in it. I have meet the guy that owns it once and sold him some flame moss for another tank. That tank would be great to have if I had the room for it.
