filter problem AC70

I ran into a problem with a AC 70 filter and hope someone can give me some ideas. I moves five fish out of a 55 into a allglass 75, the problem is the frame on the 75 is wider than the frame on the 55 and the filter sits very high on the tank. will I have the some problem with the Aquaclear 110 filter?

I have AC110's on my All-Glass 150 and they fit completely over the frame. Maybe the AC70 is made smaller?

The-AC 70's are smaller and have a narrower gap for the tank wall to fit into, tho it's not a big difference. At a guess I'd say about 1/4 inch.

thanks, 1/4" extra gap should do it, thanks for the responses wanted to know before I ordered a new filter. If I remember right, I had used AC70's from a few years ago on this same tank... oh well.

I am using both Aquaclear 70 & 110 on my Perfecto 75 gallons tank without any
problem.

On the All Glass tanks there is a lip, which if too wide can be shave off with a router.
