Another perspective................
That advertisement is good for a laugh, but on the other hand it's sad as it doesn't help the hobby at all. There are some good discus sold on Craigs in Seattle. Kacey sells his on there. But when people who are new then read that and are clueless it just hurts the hobby as they might buy them.
Find out the truth later. Feel so burnt they give up discus and there you go because of education once again one less person in the hobby which weakens the future of it. Discus already have an undeserved reputation of being hard to keep then you have this going on.

You guys obviously have the wrong information. This isn't a breeding pair.....it's a "breading pair". The seller is trying to get rid of them as food! Somebody will buy them, BREAD them, then fry them.........mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm! LOL

mate like you said it is sad that fish like that are offered for sale,and probably someone new to the hobby will be burnt by buying them and be left with a bad taste for the discus hobby that is why it is so important to know and trust the person you buy from to enshure you are getting good healthy stock.
