Praziquantel powder question

Hi everyone,

I was wondering if anyone have tried using Praziquantel in powdered form. I have read somewhere that praziquantel powder should be disolved first in ethyl alcohol (vodka) to become soluble in water.

It seems that prazi powder retract when mix directly in water. Is there any adverse effect when prazi is mixed with alcohol?

Prazi is very hard to dissolve directly into water that's why the alcohol is used. The amount that you're using will have no adverse reactions in the tank

Thanks Graham! So how much ethanol do I need to dissolve 5 grams of Prazi powder? And what percentage of ethanol will I use?

The last time I mixed up Prazi, I used no more than half a shot glass full...I had the other half:D

The one without...I haven't had worms since I was a kid...it took a while as a 8 year old to learn how to use a siphon hose, way ntoo much mulm :D:lipsrseal:
