need help with discus

ive done my research and all but theres a few things abit blurry to me. im planning to get my first batch of discus, and since most people have different ways of raising/breeding them, i was wondering if someone would be willing to guide me through the process since im kinda new to the hobby. i really dont trust my lfs and i really dont know any reliable breeder close to me, i would appreciate it alot. email, phone call, text or whatever you want is fine. thanks for reading, and have a good one

We all started out somewhere, and probably didn't know much, so don't be afraid to ask. There are alot of very nice and knowledgable people here that are willing to help.
