Most premixed formulas are dosed at the 10ml to 360 litre rate, check the bottle their recomendations. A good "guesswork" method is to use 1 drop for 4 litres.

It has been a long time since I used them seperate. From memory I made a stock solution of Malachite green using an ounce to a gallon, and dosed at 1 drop per gallon which is about 0.4mg/per litre. Formalin is dosed at 1ml per 75 litres of 37% stuff.

Maybe others will chip in, sorry I can't be of more help :o

The recipe that I have is

15 gr. MG to a gallon of 37% (or as close as you can get) formaldehyde makes the “stock” solution....dosed at one drop per gallon
