I have 9 discus total, sapphires and golden albinos, in a 130 gal.
Two pairs have developed, one pair of each.
I moved the golden into a 30 and they have spawned twice.
The sapphires I left in the community tank and they have spawned twice.
At wriggle stage they get eaten, but they are also in tap water.
I'm just too busy at work to fire up my RO and raise babies. I have bred before and I know how time consuming it is and I just don't have the time.
So, question is would you seperate the sapphires into a 30 or just leave them in the 130 and since I'm not ready to breed should I return the golden to the 130 or leave them in the other 30.
Guess I'm wondering if prolonged laying eggs without letting them raise the babies will hurt me in the long run or not?
Thx Dave
