Hey guys i think this is a female but im not 100%. Could anyone be able to tell by these pics of my red turk?

i would really love to know what im looking at?? Could anyone explain how you got a female from those pics..im a bit slow at this stuff..

yeah, the theory goes ... if you draw a line down from the angle of the dorsal fin margin ... if it intersects the tail = female, if it misses the tail and leads away = male. that is to say a male dorsal more often trails away from the body. I sure wouldn't bet on this fish though. based on the fins i would agree female, but that it not the be all and end all for sexing. Personally i think you are much more accurate if you wait to see the genital papilla. IMO
