Hi All,
I am in the process of setting up the plumbing for my water changes on my 150G. I age my water on a Barrel and figured that line would be the easiest to plumb. I would simply run a 3/4 pipe to the barrel and attach it to a pump at the bottom of the barrel.
Now for my challenge. What would be the best idea to plumb a second line that I would attach my python to. I've thought about using a second pump placed at the end of the line to suck the water thru, I’ve also though about using a similar technique as the python valve, so it uses fresh water to pull water thru the line. At the end of the day, my idea is to have a barb type fitting near my tank where I can "plug in" my python hose and begin the vacuum process.
Any ideas are HIGHLY welcomed
