How to use OxyTetracycline powder

Hi ppl
my wild blue has long transperant poo,i tried Demetronidazole for 3 days wc every 8 hours t 90,no changes, so i'll try Oxytetra-vit for bacterial
how much do i doze and for how long to treat him

Hi Vera,

When I have used this I used it at 5mg per litre. Dosed daily after a large w/c for ten days and kept the lights off. It can knock the bio filter so keep an eye on ammonia etc.

I'll try!

It looks like that for every gram of the powder it contains 55mg of oxytetracycline. so to dose 50litres you would need 250mg of oxytetracycline which if my maths is correct means you will need 4.55 grams of this powder. It won't harm to go slightly higher if it is easier to weigh out 5grams.

Full dose after each w/c.

He died:(
after dosed oxy he folded his fins,had all stress bars out and after 3 hours kept trying to jump out , at that point i did 30%wc , he was still very disoriented bumping on the glass . in the night i put him in a clean water(he was kicking top glass every min),but in the morning poor guy was dead..
i think i overdosed it
