giant danio with discus

can i put a some giant danios with discus if not what schooling fish can i have without them getting eaten by my other fish? i currently have a two 5 inch needlefish, one senegal bichir 5 inch long, a 3 inch pleco. please tell me some peaceful community fish that will not be eaten but cannot growout my 38 gallon tank. post some pics of the fish if needed.

I don't know what others will say, but it seems as though bichirs, gars/needlefish and danios are not suitable tankmates for discus. I believe the fast movements of the danios will freak the discus out.
