Discus and Planted tank Question

Hi, I would like to know if my setup is OK or overfilter. I have a 75Gallons tank with Fluval 405 and Eheim 2207. I have discus and others fishs and about 12 plants. I add 2 months ago an electronic CO2 system from Jebo. My plants are not bad, but not great. Do you think that I should close 1 canister to reduce oxygen source or should I do something else?

I'd be inclined to tuck fertilizer tablets down into the substrate a few inches from the plant roots. Or to use liquir ferts in the water column (I avoid ferts that contain phosphate as we have plenty of that in our water here and the last thing the tank needs is more phosphate).
