If you haven't seen the new Batman flick yet, drop what you're doing. Run, don't walk, to the nearest theatre. Happily pay whatever they charge and prepare to be blown away.

You don't have to be a Batman fan or a comic fan by any stretch to appreciate how brilliant it really is. It's a very very good movie.

I agree. Heath Ledger's performance is Oscar worthy.

Personally.... I dont know what all the fuss is about!! The movie, as well as all other movies will ultimately go to DVD. A 65" DLP makes a great venue for all the recent movies...;) :D :D

I don't have a 65" DLP. :(

But I will be picking it up on DVD as well. :D

I can see that for most movies. My wife and I watch alot of movies at home. Hopefully we'll be able to afford a nice flat panel in the next year or two.

Some however, just need to be experienced on the big screen with an enthusiastic crowd and a giant tub of popcorn. :)

But.....There is nothin better than goin out with the significant other. Gettin the popcorn, the drinks, and the candy, sittin in the back and romancing the stone...Sort of speakin...:D :D :D

Well I will have to wait for it to come out on DVD, Jim hates the movies and we just wait for the DVD's or to come on the Premium chanels on cable. Funny I havent been to the movies since "Forest Gump" so sad. (smile)_
I have a 65" and it is totally awesome, larger than life right in the family room.
Good Day to All

Just watched it on Saturday. I loved it. A dark movie, for sure. But Batman is supposed to be dark. And Heath did an amazing job as the joker. I want to go see it again!

I agree--I thought especially that Heath Ledger's performance was amazing, creepy, deep, and extremely mentally ill. I would be very suprized if they didn't nominate the performance.

A buddy of mine hadn't seen it yet so we went to watch it on an IMAX screen.

All I can say is WOW! I think I liked it even more the second time. And the IMAX version is incredible.

I've seen the movie. I didnt think it was an awesome movie but it was better than most. Certainly better than the older Batman movies. The Joker was probably the best thing about the movie. Look for "Why so serious" to be a new catch phrase in the near future if it isn't already.
