i found a piece of branch outside my house and i wanted to put it in my discus tank. is this bad and why? it is a rose branch and i just cut off all the thorns and leaves and i also boiled it.

The branch may contain chemicals that are poison to the fish or it may be perfectly fine. Personally I would not risk it.

That probably wasn't a good idea...what parasite could a boiled peice of rose wood have....IMO no drugs or chems without a solid reason
