GFIC circuits, vip

:p All I can say is thank goodness for GFI circuits.....what a dummie, was working on a tank of new fish, baby abn's, & knocked the light into the tank....just for a second, pulled it quickly, but it blew the breaker...glad,since my hands were in the tank....everyone did ok, but you can bet I'll be more careful now.....lol....think all our tanks should be on GFIC circuits.....JME

Same thing happened to me once, except no GFCI I was told the light was unplugged. I barely got one finger in and basically jumped three feet back and almost pee myself:mad:So yes GFCI are important.

:D I was a bit surprised when after it was dry, I plugged the light in next day & it worked....really thought it would be dead as a doornail, lol

You were so lucky Ed, bet it hurt when it *****a,......I don't want to even feel that, my horse electric fences are bad enough, can't take it....lol...
