When i add my new water into my tank i use a bucket and in streams in pretty fast. Is this ok or should i go for a more suttle aproach.:confused:

Thats what i do, Almost 2 years and it works fine for me. Ive read posts where people do it all with powerheads, This cuts down on all the comotion.
I guess the least stress possible is best.

As long as the temp and ph are close to the tank readings you can dump it in as fast as you want. (but not on top of the fish) If the ph and temp were not close I would do it much slower. IMO I cosider a temp within 2 degrees and a ph within .2 close emough to dump. Don T.

That is correct, as long as the PH and temp are really close then you are just fine.
