parents slime

at what point do the parents start to produce slime for the fry and dont they normally turn dark. early this week I stated I had pandas and checkerboard, well its none of the above they are pigeon blood. I will be gone for the first 2 weeks of their lives if they survive and I'll have my daughter do the brine shrimp and my wife will change the water at the end of the first week and hopefully this will be enough for the fry. can any one let me know how much bb should be fed and how often or is the parents slime adequet for the first couple weeks with some supplemental bb so she doesnt overfeed the tank.:angel::angel:

Here is where your wife is gonna feel like she has had another baby. lol bbs need to be fed as often as possible. WHich means about every 2 hours. How much to feed....well this depends on the amt of fry in the tank. Wc's need to done 2 times a day and large ones. The fry can live off the parents slim but it is going to runt them some. IMO
