The people who live along the gulf coast of Texas, particularly in the Houston area, are in for a very rough weekend. :(

I hope everyone will keep them in their thoughts and prayers over the next few days.

I just tried calling a few people in Houston. All circuits are busy.

been listening to the coverage for a few hours now. galveston is in bad shape. all the places and piers where i go fishing are wiped out.

Yeah, I've had Dan on my mind since yesterday too. I sure hope he fairs well, and I know there are some others over there, I've got my fingers crossed for you all -

I just got off the phone with Dan. He has no power at the shop but has a generator running to keep the fish alive. He is in good spirits.

Good to know Jack.His area got pounded hard Reliant Stadium got tore up pretty good.They say 2-3 millon people with no power or water.Could take 3weeks to get every thing back.Hang in there Dan.

My power came on last night! The city water has tested good, so the bottled variety is a choice, not a necessity now. My Discus' fins are a little ragged, hoping a few good water changes will fix that. Those Azoo battery op air pumps work very well!
Many still are without power.

Thank youJack, I'm so glad to hear that Dan is ok, been wondering how he & others made out...you too Debbie, guess lots of us have been thinking 'bout you guys in the midst of this disaster...do we have anyone in Galveston that was hit so hard?
