Couple of Shots

Hi guys, here are a couple of shots of my 75 and a 125 planted Discus tanks. I've been doing planted tanks for awhile, am fairly new to Discus. It's been a bit of a challenge finding plants that will grow for me in 84 degree temps. Thanks to thread lurking and the advice from here I'm getting a handle on it. The 75 has 8 adults. They will eventually go into the 125 as they have outgrown the 75. The 125 has 10 med size juvies, I will be doing some relocating in the next few weeks. Just set up a 90 that is almost fully cycled. It will house a few from each tank and hopefully a few new ones after some QT'ing. Thanks for looking:)

Very nice tanks, I would love to have a planted tank but I would end up killing them.

I agree with Crstfr, if you can keep Discus happy you can surely keep a nice planted tank. In my opinion the two are about the same amount of work, just a different learning curve:)

I too am trying a planted Discus tank. So far all the discus are happy and I have only killed one plant (grass). But, most are doing well.

c02 is just an upfront cost.. but like they said... just set it and leave it~
