I live in Puerto Rico and we have 80 to 85 degree weather throughout the year. Are there any live foods I can raise and keep in this temperature?
One good thing is that I do not use water heaters in my fish tanks.
Mosquito larvae, but you know the DRNA and Sanidad Ambiental will think about that. A brine shrimp and phyto culture is nice, but that's expensive and will yield to little product. Vinegar eels etc, yuck! You can even get some bloodworms growing in ponds and other water vessels rich in nutrients, not good! The only thing I might consider is an earthworm farm. BUT beefheart is so cheap, so why bother:)
No need to worry with live food, just good food!;)

emilio,
I would highly recommend Red wiggler worms, They are by far more nutritious than many prepared foods and the fish love them... My juvies eat them faster than I can cut em up. Talk about Buddha bellies:D I would contend that they are by far a better choice than BH (which I offer and they mostly ignore) And you have a never ending source.

I have been thinking about red wigglers. Maybe I will give them a try.
Thanks.
