Hi all,
After going down to Baltimore this past weekend to hear Dick Au talk at CapitalCichlids.org I came back with an increased sense of The importance of Fish Clubs to fish keeping in general.. I have a couple ideas That I'll be trying to put into motion over the next months and one of them is going to need some help...

First off I would like to ask all the members here to take a moment and post about any fishclubs that you belong to or have belonged to and their Contact info/websites etc in this thread...I'd like to build a directory here of those groups....

Doesn't matter what Country you are in , If you belong to a club that meets regularly, please list them here......At the minimum...this will let other members on the board know of the clubs existence.. I hope that it will do far more than that though....More on that latter...so please help me out here.. lets see how many of these clubs we can list.

Thanks so much,
al

I think this is a great idea. If there are any fish clubs in western Montana I have never heard of them. I would love to know if there are any close by.

This is a great idea, I was thinking about organizing a club here in the
Northwest suburbs of Chicago. I use to organize a big club in the Southern suburbs of Chicago back in the 90's with 30 members and it was a blast.

SD .. I with Mark.

On that note, I am not a member of any official fish club but have been invited to many by a fish hobbyist neighbor several times - never materialised. I think its in Bristol, CT and they for sure meet regularly.

Why not start something like a Simply Discus - NE Chapter?

Hi Ashay,

Why not start something like a Simply Discus - NE Chapter? not quite what I am looking for here... Its an idea worth exploring but Really what I am in need of is a listing all the established Clubs.

Thanks!

I'm trying to move the domain names to the new server, but having a hard time reaching the guy who has registered the domain names (he registered the domain names under his name). Right now they are pointing to an old server and not getting updated.
