Am in need of some help please.
We recently purchased 2 Indian Tigers which are around 16cm but sexes were unknown.
Within a week it seems we had a pair as they were courting, selected a breeding cone and begun to darken in colour also.In this time a smaller red melon has joined in (about 8cm) and although being nudged away will not leave their area and is helping defend it.
We then noticed today that the red melon had laid a few odd eggs on the spawning cone but couldnt get the other 2 to join in. 1 of them will hang around the red melon more than the other but the other indian who is so dark now its nearly black is just hanging back ??
Obviously i dont want the red melon and the indian pairing up , i want the 2 indians to pair up and spawn ( providing they are a pair) and am going to move the indians to a tank by themselves on the weekend.
Would love to hear some thoughts on this situation as im baffled
Thanks:)
