I got a Guardian 250 watt heater used. I find it when I search but it doesn't say if it is submersible. Anyone know? Thanks; Don T.

Oddly enough, I have had the best luck with the guardian heaters. The failure rate on these is much better than Ebo's or the stealths. Out of 6 of them I have bought only 1 was DOA. I ordered 6 stealths in the last 6 months and 4 of them are dead and being returned. The best prices I have found on the guardian heaters is from kensfish.com

I was checking out the website and saw that they are preset at 76 deg. I assume that they are adjustable. I was wondering what the upper temp limit is? Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't there times when you might have to boost the temp to maybe 90 deg like with some forms of medication? The Ebo was the only one I knew of that went that high.

They are adjustable and I haven't had a problem jacking the temp when needed. I will be ordering some more in the near future.
