Hi everyone,

What is the best way too add discus from one tank to another. Do you put them into plastic bags, float them for half an hour and then release them. They are only moving from the living room to my bedroom so its not a huge move.

Thank you!

As long as temp and pH are close, them just bowl or bag and move them

to my own experience(just started about 2.5yrs) dripping acclimation is the best way...it is just take time about 2 hrs before introduce to a new tank...just my experience ok..hope it helps.

I agree with Graham, if the conditions are the same or close, you can just move the fish right over.

Hi Nicole,

I just scoop it from one tank to the other using a net...more stressful for the fish if you put it in bucket and scoop it again.

Cheers
Francis:)

Same for me; Catch in one tank, dump in other. All my discus tanks have similar temp and ph. Don T.
