Hi all,;)
I am just wondering how good frozen white mosquitoe larvae are for discus. I found some info on the web and opinions seem very different. Some think it's very beneficial and others don't!!!!! Any feedback on that????
Cheers!!
Sophie
They are only good if the fish eat them. Check protein content versus cost for the fish you have.

I tried Hikari's frozen white morquitoe larvae last year and my fish would not touch them. They just let the worms float around in the tank. I gave up after a week of offering it to them. It didn't seem there was much to the worms either. They just looked like empty worm bodies floating around.

They are excellant food if your fish will eat them. They are not a natural discus food. I have had discus that would eat them, others that wouldn't.

Thanks Mat,
I might give it a try. My discus are not picky at all. They eat everything, so far, anyway...:p
