got my babies in yesterday

ji im new to discus but i been reading alot on the forum. i got 20 nickel size discus in yesterday. right know they are hiding behind the filter and they are not eating. they peak on my filter and driftwood that about it. How long will they start eating and when are they going too start swiming around?

I would take the driftwood out, so they don't have a place to hide. When I had some juvies, they hid behind the driftwood and would not come out to eat. I took out the driftwood, and after the discus became more comfortable with the surroundings, they started eating.

they are starting to to swim now. half is swimming around and the other half stay near the sponge filter

I would give it a day or two. Leave the driftwood its not necessary to take it out. You should give some other info like tank size and what you feed them. But in a day or so they should be fine.

their in 100 gallon tank and i try to feed them frozen brine shrimp and blood worm and tetra bits
