I was using a 40 breeder for my quarantine/growout tank. but with baby tropheus constantly occupying it, it was hard to use for quarintine.

so I got off my butt and bought a couple of 29 gallon tanks for breeding and quarantine and hospital tanks.

I have room for one more. my LFS only had 2

4 small blue diamonds are taking up this tank. I am going to grow them out in there till they are big enough to go in with the others

this tank currently houses my only current pair. it's a Hans Stendker santarem and an alenquer. going to be some interesting fry maybe. :) the guy at my LFS gave me a couple of his old breeding cones.

I'm sort of worried about how you have those tanks set up. Maybe you can get a 1/2" or 3/4" sheet of plywood and cut it to size to rest on top of that dresser? Those tanks are basically 500 lbs. together filled with water, maybe you should hold off on that 3rd tank?

hehe

I have had much more weight on that dresser. it's solid 1/2 inch wood, no particle board. I picked it up at an auction a long time ago and I use it to store my spare aquarium junk.

but the overhang could get dangerous. I think i'll grab a spare sheet of plywood and stick it under them.
