Does anyone have any experience feeding chopped up shrimp to Discus? I have plenty left over from my stingray.

Shrimp (saltwater) is an excellent food for discus. Over half of the BH mix I make for my fish is actually shrimp meat, the kind you buy at the groc store. If thats the kind you have it needs to be processed into bite size bits or blended into a mix. If you have Mysis Shrimp and your discus like it that's also very good for your discus and you can either chop it up or toss it in as is. It may take a few feedings before they develope a taste for it though.

One of the really handy things about beef heart is that an amazing number of foods much less attractive than shrimp meat will be accepted when its mixed into a beef heart blend.
