Hello all,

I thought I'd post this to the knowlegeable. I have a pair in a bb 29 and they lay eggs all the time. I've seen wigglers once. The eggs are great until the second night. When the lights come on in the morning they are transparent. They look like bubbles on the cone and are completely see through. I had a small pleco in the tank and I have since remove him thinking he might be the culprit.

Any ideas???

Thanks for the help!

yeah, as long as they don't go white they should be ok.

What color is the pair? The eggs from the pair below would very seldom turn dark.

There is nothing a pleco could do that would turn the eggs clear. They would either eat them or not. I've seen eggs from dark red/brown to yellow to nearly clear. IME the color has nothing to do with whether or not they are viable, unless they turn white of course.
