View Full Version : LFS Discus what is it?

I was looking for some assassin snails, and filter pad for wet/dry then saw this Discus but couldn't figure out what it was. In one picture it says Red Turquoise but thats the other fish in there.

It looks like a snakeskin by the bars..The gill plates aren't as finely striated as normal for a snakeskin..... probably a cross... its not a very good example of the strain if it is.

The big pics look like a stunted Snake-Skin Discus...Probally best to leave them where they are at...Bill

Ya they said they picked it up from a customer who didn't want it. I thought the same thing. Not going to purchase it. Just curious on what it was. I have the 9 in my tank that I'm happy with. No more for me til i get my 300
