I started getting one discus and later added two more.

and finally I added 4 more.


I have seen them nipping at each other and try to bully one another.


is this normal? what are they doing exactly? Are they sorting their social hierarchy?


what will happen if I add more? Will this experience occur again?

Will it stress them out?

i can't get enough of 7, I want at least 11!

They will set up a pecking order..
The more the better. That way not just one fish has to take all of the heat...
As long as you have enough water in the tank for the fish..each adult fish needs about 10 gallons of water.

try not to add one discus at a time as this will make him an easy target to the more adjusted fish.
