Can i put a baby black arowana in my discus comm tank?

Will this work? My discuses are around 4-5" big. They are fine. They're in a school of 9. Can i put a 6-7" black arowana in? I heard they dont show aggression. BTW tank is in a 55g. But will upgrade soon

I think you need a bigger tank first, at least 90 gallons. 55 is a bit small for 9 4"-5" discus. 125 gallons would be better if you are going to put a baby Arowana in there. He will soon outgrow the 125 tank with all of those Discus in there too.:)

yea i know, its only temporarly say for couple months. But for now, will it work? Lets say my filtration is excellent also btw

I wouldnt put it in a 55 gallon with 9 other 5" fish. For discus the rule of thumb is, 1 fish to 10 gallons.
