Okay.. enuf is enuf  This is the snowiest (is that a word?) and coldest Decembers on record for a long long time. We have double the amount of snow we've had in recent years, and there's another big storm heading our way as I type

At 0400 when I got up, it was -3F. High for the day is supposed to be 5 or 6 above :(

I'm mad as hell and not going to take it anymore :antlers: as if I have a choice :D

Hope you all are doing well and getting all ready for the holidays :)

Jim

Today was 22 Celcius (71.6 degree Fahrenheit), which was 3 below average  but still a lovely day :)

But at least you get a white christmas :D

I just checked the temp here (2.5 hours East of Chicago on the other side of Lake Michigan) and it was 1! With the wind factored in it feels like a blistering -18 so eat THAT Chicagoans!!! LOL. I'm sure it wass a few degrees cooler this morning. The coldest I've ever seen was -23 (actual temp) in Big Rapids, Michigan about 3 years ago.

Cosmo, just curious, are you or were you in the military or do you work at an airport?

I'd rather be without the snow any day of the week. It's over rated!

18-20 of snow in the past two days in Buffalo.16 deg 30 mile an hour winds pretty much the norm around here this time of year.Did the driveway 4 times this weekend. But its still better than huricanes, floods, twisters, earthquakes, forest fires and the like!

send some downunder i would love a white christmasNoooo, I don't want a white christmas. I'll take the heat anytime. Yes, I know you're hotter up there Darren, but that's where I'd be living now, if it weren't for the pull of the family here in Sydney. It would be the Gold Coast for me, for sure.

Well at least something good has happened because of the cold. The temp. drop yesterday made these guys spawn early a.m....the tank temp. dropped a few degrees and they liked it. I went down there to wrap the tank in Reflectix insulation...think I'll wait now...Bill
