1 tablespoon of eggs sounds like a lot of eggs for 1 liter, try using using a quater that amount and see what happens! Does the hatching water change color?

Does sound like bad eggs, normally after 24 hours the water will change orange colored if the eggs are viable, or stay clear if you have the wrong hatching parameters. Cloudy water sounds very strange, try a new batch of eggs.

Use a higher powered air stone. The more oxygen in the water the higher the number of eggs that hatch. I am using eggs that are 4 years old and most of them hatch.

emilo,

I think you are using too many eggs my friend and not enough salt. I use 2 liter bottles for mine and put in 2 tablespoons rock salt with 1/2 teaspoon to a whole teaspoon eggs. Try that and see if that helps.. Ed

most of the time when i have hatching issues is because i used too much/too little salt.

try a light, 1 tbls salt and 1/2 teaspoon of eggs... see how that works.
