With that routine, the WCs could be stepped up but it really all depends on your water quality. Just a suggestion. Also, maybe throttle back a cube at each feeding and feed them 2 more times throughout the day so 4 or even 5 times a day. You will definitely need to watch your water then.

What also is appropriate food?

FBW are decent foods but best for once a day. I'd try a nice flake like some of the Ocean Nutrition Flakes at least twice a day. Do some tetrabits or other high quality pellet. And to give them the cake, a little prepared beefheart. You can feed them the beefheart on the days you do your WCs if you prefer. There are some quality prepared ones if you don't feel like messing around with making your own...or just make your own.

I can tell because their little bellies will look full. I have 2 over eaters so they look like they swallowed an almond. Anyhing larger than that will get me worried. :o

I think Bass has it right, You may want to purchase some all in one test strips, Amon, nitrate and nitrite being most important. Ph should remain steady. Ed
