That is the correct price for That Pet Place. Try Jehmco, you'll have much less sticker shock.

That's is 100 g bottle & usually LFS sells the small version 5 g that's around US $5.00.....I got mine from Ken.fish.com as mentioned by other members here.

on a side note
does metro expire?
I have a couple 5 gram bottles here thathave never been opened but they are many years old...like maybe 6-8

Hi Trebor,
I don't know what the expiration half life is for metro but you should be able to find it by searching for an MSDS sheet on it.
Also, the metro from Jehmco is still a fraction of the cost that it is at any aquarium supply outfit that I know of. For around $3.00 more than you'll spend at Kensfish for a few tablets, you get 100 grams of pure metro.

Whoa! That's obsurd! I usually spend about $7 when my LFS carried that brand....
