Since I am looking into adding sand to my tank in the future, I thought I would ask as it looks very nice. Your tank looks great! Tank is very clean,and looks great. Discus are all beautifull. Only one thing bother me and that is all pipes are visible.... Otherwise tank is more than beautifull

I don't think that is truly purple. Its the lighting and the shadow.
I would love to see a truly purple discus. Its funny if you think about it,
Blue + Red = Purple, the 2 colors are always close together yet they don't mix to give purple on discus fish.

thank you all for yr compliments it makes me happy. I use 2 eheim 2217 plus one aqua 1200 n 36w uv light. Not sure about the type of sand bought it from local shop n asked for the type that does not affect ph. I was lucky to find this drift wood interesting shape n right size for my tank. No purple discus only if I wish.
