Fins

I just bought 5 two inch discus and I noticed that on one of them there front pectoral fin is about half the size of the other one in lenghth. Will fins grow back if they are clipped off during shipment and its not a generic issue?

Was it a pectoral fin or ventral fin?

I had a Discus a few years back with a shorter pectoral fin and it was genetic. Kind of like Finding Nemo. It didn't affect him at all but it moved a little faster than the other one. ;)

If it was a ventral fin, it may grow back but not too sure. I've seen them damaged and stay damaged but not sure about growing back.
