Twitching

Hello, I think I might have something going on in my tank. Not quite sure but Im getting a little frustrated. I noticed my fish doing this little twitch flickering thing with there fins (dorsal and ventral). I think it might be some kind of parasite. On occasion theyll rub on my plant and only the plants. I checked water parameters had some trace amounts of ammonia and stepped up water changes. I still notice them doing. Theyre eating fine. Any idea what this could be due to.
