at 2 months old when i received (2") them and at 4 months old (4")
I would like to hear what people think... are they growing fast enough?
Ideas about the peppering?

They look to be developing well. 2 months, inch each month. Sure that's good. Some like peppering some don't.

Whats that? Sorry for my ignorance, i'm not aware of the theory.
I'm interested in learning more.
I think the peppering looks fine. More contrast in the appearance of the fish is good in my opinion.

oh, sorry i just noticed your post.
They are growing nicely, 2 are bigger and more colorful than the other 2.
I had to move them out of the 45 gallon tank and put them into my 90 gallon community tank to make room for my red-turquoise pair that have decided it is time to breed. :-D
I'll post a pic of these fish soon.
